There’s no big Final Fantasy release to talk about yet because we recorded this a week ago and are not ready to discuss Dawntrail. So instead this month is basically just a generic video game podcast. The increasingly scare-quoted “E3” season has passed, we had some thoughts about it.
We talk about some Final Fantasy news, there’s not a ton. FFIX and Tactics remaster rumors. SE President “Kazuma” Kiryu is less interested in AI. Then it’s how excited we are for Zelda, AssCreed, Metroid, MGS, Demonschool, and how the bizarre 2010 Konami E3 conference still gives us life and energy years later.
This month’s FFWiki Podcast is hosted by BlueHighwind, a BlueHighwind that still has mic static and he legitimately does not know why (mic gain?), SomeColorMage and Technobliterator. Podcast music is “La Montana de los Caballos Jovenes” by XPRTNovice off the OC Remix Album Balance and Ruin, based on Mt. Koltz from FFVI. It’s really loud at the end this time. Really loud.
